Kappa Day 2026

Kappa Day - 10 lat

Kappa Day 2026

From the very beginning, the idea behind Kappa Day has been to create an event that goes beyond a traditional product conference. It was designed as a platform for knowledge sharing, relationship building, and direct discussions between partners, technology vendors, and Kappa Data experts. Rather than focusing solely on product presentations, Kappa Day combines business and technical insights with open discussions about real customer challenges and practical implementation experiences.

On 18–19 June 2026, Kappa Data hosted another edition of Kappa Day at the Belvedere Hotel in Zakopane, Poland. The event brought together channel partners and leading networking and cybersecurity vendors for two days of knowledge sharing, technology discussions, and networking. This year’s edition was particularly special as it also celebrated the 10th anniversary of Kappa Data’s operations in the Polish market.

From the very beginning, my goal was for Kappa Day to be more than just another conference where people come to listen to presentations. We wanted to create a place where partners, vendors, and the Kappa Data team could simply get to know each other. Those relationships are, without a doubt, the greatest value of Kappa Day. I believe that after events like this, participants leave not only with new knowledge, but also with fresh ideas, valuable connections, and a broader perspective on how to grow their business. Technology is important, but behind every successful project are people—and strong partnerships always begin with strong relationships. - Joanna Gajewska, Country Manager, Kappa Data Poland

This year’s edition brought together channel partners from across Poland alongside representatives of Barracuda Networks, Ruckus Networks, Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity (formerly LANCOM Systems), JumpCloud, Cato Networks, runZero, Ekahau, and ZPE Systems.

The conference agenda covered a wide range of topics, including cybersecurity, modern wired and wireless networking, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), identity management, digital sovereignty, IT infrastructure management, and network automation. Rather than focusing solely on product innovations, the sessions highlighted practical use cases and demonstrated how these technologies can be successfully applied in real-world customer projects delivered by Kappa Data partners.

One of the key highlights of this year’s Kappa Day was the introduction of a new format for the Technical Zone. For the first time, it was divided into dedicated technology areas, with each vendor hosting its own demonstration space. Instead of visiting traditional exhibition booths, attendees were able to move freely between the different zones, engage in one-on-one discussions with technical experts, experience live demonstrations, and explore specific deployment scenarios.

The new concept was designed to encourage more in-depth technical conversations and to ensure that every partner had the opportunity to interact directly with specialists from each participating vendor. The result was a more engaging and collaborative environment, where practical knowledge sharing took precedence over conventional product demonstrations.

In parallel, the business track focused on market trends and growth opportunities. Vendors shared their strategic vision for the evolution of their solutions and discussed how partners can leverage key industry trends—including Digital Sovereignty, NIS2, Zero Trust, and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)—to differentiate their offerings, create new business opportunities, and strengthen their competitive position.

The evening celebration held a special significance as it marked the 10th anniversary of Kappa Data’s operations in Poland. While the Kappa Data Group has been serving the IT channel for 28 years, it was ten years ago that the company established its presence in the Polish market, steadily expanding its partner network and technology portfolio.

According to the original agenda, the evening was to be opened by Joanna Gajewska, Country Manager of Kappa Data Poland. However, her colleagues had prepared a surprise. Instead of inviting her on stage, they asked her to take a seat among the guests and took over the stage themselves.

Through a series of short, heartfelt, and often humorous speeches, the team shared what everyday life at Kappa Data looks like and reflected on the values that, in their opinion, define the company. Personal stories and memories highlighted that Kappa Data’s success has always been built not only on technology, but above all on people and the long-lasting relationships they create.

A particularly memorable moment of the evening was the speech delivered by Marcin Piekarz, who has been part of Kappa Data Poland since the very beginning. He reflected on the company’s early years, recalled the key milestones in its development, and spoke about the values that have shaped the company’s relationships with partners and technology vendors from day one.

The highlight of the anniversary celebration was the joint appearance on stage of Joanna Gajewska, Country Manager of Kappa Data Poland, and Patrick Casteels, CEO of Kappa Data Group. In a warm and emotional atmosphere, they thanked the company’s partners, vendors, and employees for their trust and commitment, while sharing their vision for the next stage of Kappa Data’s growth. The moment symbolically celebrated the company’s first decade in Poland while looking ahead to the opportunities and ambitions of the years to come.

Kappa Day 2026 once again demonstrated that in value-added distribution, technology alone is not enough. Expertise, collaboration, and the opportunity to exchange knowledge face-to-face remain the foundation of long-term success. Kappa Data plans to continue developing the event in the coming years, further enhancing both its technical and business content while maintaining the unique networking atmosphere that has defined Kappa Day from the very beginning.
