RUCKUS T670sn – new possibilities for outdoor networks. RUCKUS Wi-Fi 7 outdoor access point

An increasing number of projects demand stable and high-speed wireless connectivity in outdoor environments—such as public spaces, stadiums, campuses, or city centers. In these locations, performance, flexibility, and resistance to changing conditions are essential. The RUCKUS T670sn meets these requirements by introducing a new standard in Wi-Fi 7 performance and coverage management.

Programmable Sector Antenna

The most notable innovation of the T670sn is its ability to remotely program the signal coverage direction—either in a narrow or wide beam mode. This flexibility allows for better adaptation of coverage to environmental conditions and actual user needs. It also simplifies network planning, as a single device with adjustable antenna properties can replace multiple models of access points.

Sprawdzone WI-FI na stadionach planowania sieci – zamiast wielu różnych modeli access pointów, można zastosować jedno urządzenie o zmiennych właściwościach anteny.

Wi-Fi 7 Support

The RUCKUS T670sn is available in two versions:

  • Dual-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz) – designed for global markets, including EMEA. It offers a maximum physical data rate of up to 6.454 Gbps.

  • Tri-band (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz + 6 GHz) – for the U.S. and Canada, delivering up to 9.336 Gbps and supporting standard power transmission in the 6 GHz band (AFC).

The version available in Europe allows full use of Wi-Fi 7 within permitted frequency ranges, ensuring high throughput and stable connectivity.

Multi-Link Operation (MLO)

MLO enables simultaneous use of multiple frequency bands within a single connection, increasing reliability and speed. This technology is particularly effective in crowded environments where high capacity and low latency are critical.

Durability and Environmental Resistance

The IP67-rated enclosure provides full protection against dust and water. The T670sn operates in a wide temperature range—from -40°C to +65°C—and supports up to 768 concurrent clients, making it an ideal solution for demanding outdoor deployments.

Radio Performance and Security

The device supports the latest technologies, including 4K QAM modulation, channel widths up to 320 MHz, and preamble puncturing. Security features include WPA3, Dynamic PSK, TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, and built-in systems for intrusion detection and prevention (WIPS/WIDS).

Management – Cloud or On-Premises

The T670sn can be managed via the RUCKUS One platform (an AI-powered cloud solution) or through a local SmartZone controller. Both options offer full network control, advanced reporting, and integration with existing customer infrastructure.

Who is it for?

The RUCKUS T670sn is especially recommended for deployments in:

  • urban environments,

  • sports and entertainment venues,

  • educational campuses,

  • resorts and hospitality sites,

  • large industrial areas.

Summary

The RUCKUS T670sn is an advanced outdoor access point that combines the high performance of Wi-Fi 7 with flexible antenna configuration and strong environmental resistance. For Kappa Data clients, it enables the implementation of ambitious outdoor projects using fewer devices, with greater coverage precision and reduced operational costs.
