Jente Hauttekeete breaks the juniors world heptathlon record

What a celebration in De Pinte last Sunday: 18-year-old Jente Hauttekeete is the brand new and first Belgian indoor world record holder among juniors. He broke the record with 6062 points. A very strong performance of which we as sponsors are very proud.

Although Jente is a sensible guy, and has both feet firmly on the ground, we dare to look a little ahead. His performance is very impressive for his age and we hope for the best.

Will he really be the Nafi Thiam of the men? Time will tell… From our side we wish Jente a lot of success, and keep our fingers crossed for a place at the Olympics one day.
