RUCKUS Connect Lunch – Hands-on RUCKUS Networks Workshop

Thu 8 October, 2026 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

We invite you to RUCKUS Connect Lunch – a hands-on technology workshop focused on RUCKUS Networks solutions, modern Wi-Fi networks, and the design and management of wired and wireless infrastructure.

The event is designed for both current and prospective Kappa Data Partners who want to explore the RUCKUS portfolio, see the solutions in action, and gain practical knowledge that can be applied when designing and deploying networks for their customers.

During the workshop, we will cover the capabilities of RUCKUS Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7, ICX switches, as well as RUCKUS One and SmartZone platforms. Most importantly, we will focus on practical aspects: choosing the right architecture, setting up a SmartZone environment, designing Wi-Fi networks, and avoiding the most common deployment mistakes.

Event participation, lunch and parking are covered by the organizer.

Details of the venue in Warsaw will be shared once your registration has been confirmed.

10:00 Coffee & welcome

What will you learn during RUCKUS Connect Lunch?

1. RUCKUS Networks – market position and portfolio

Get to know RUCKUS as part of the Belden portfolio and learn more about the brand’s direction and development. We will cover the key elements of the portfolio: Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E and Wi-Fi 7 access points, RUCKUS ICX switches, and management platforms including RUCKUS One, SmartZone and Unleashed.

We will also introduce the technologies that differentiate RUCKUS, including BeamFlex, adaptive antenna technology and ChannelFly.

Presented by: Sebastian Reluga – RUCKUS Networks

2. RUCKUS management technologies and architecture

Cloud, on-premises or a controller-less deployment?

We will compare the key deployment models: RUCKUS One, SmartZone and Unleashed. You will learn when to use each approach, how licensing and support work, and what capabilities analytics and AIOps solutions can provide.

Presented by: Sebastian Reluga – RUCKUS Networks

3. Live demo – SmartZone from scratch

No slides, no theory. See how a RUCKUS SmartZone environment is set up in practice.

We will demonstrate:

  • registering an access point and an ICX switch,
  • configuring WLANs and VLANs,
  • assigning configurations to APs,
  • navigating the SmartZone interface,
  • infrastructure monitoring.

A practical demonstration of what a RUCKUS SmartZone deployment looks like in a real-world environment.

Presented by: Marcin Kościesza – Kappa Data

4. Wireless network design in practice

A well-designed Wi-Fi network starts long before the first access point is installed.

We will discuss site surveys, AP selection and placement, and wireless network design across different environments – from offices and warehouses to hotels and hospitals.

We will highlight the most common design mistakes, explain how to interpret survey results, and show how to select the right RUCKUS AP models for specific use cases.

Presented by: Marcin Piekarz – Wi-Fi Network Design Specialist

5. Q&A and next steps

We will finish with an open session for your questions, specific projects and technical challenges. We will also discuss opportunities to run a RUCKUS pilot or Proof of Concept (PoC) together with the RUCKUS and Kappa Data teams.

Who is the RUCKUS workshop for?

RUCKUS Connect Lunch is open to both current and prospective Kappa Data Partners – register yourself and any additional participants below.

We welcome technical specialists, engineers, pre-sales professionals and administrators.

If you are just getting started with RUCKUS Networks, we will show you where to begin.
