Monitor and mitigate the risks of shadow AI.

During the SASEfy 2025 event, new features in Cato CASB were unveiled, designed to help companies take control over the unregulated use of AI tools.

More and more employees are turning to AI-powered tools like ChatGPT, DALL·E, Copilot, and Gemini to write, create, analyze, and code faster. Sounds great, right? But who’s keeping track of how and where company data is being shared through these tools?

Cato Networks is stepping up to the challenge – introducing new security controls for GenAI applications within Cato CASB, a native component of the Cato SASE Cloud platform.

What’s new in Cato CASB?

🔍 Shadow AI Dashboard
Gain full visibility into the GenAI tools your employees are using. Cato identifies and classifies over 950 GenAI applications – not just the approved ones, but also those quietly used without IT’s knowledge.

🛡️ Policy Engine
You can define precise rules: who can use which AI tools, to what extent (e.g., view-only access, no data uploads), and under what conditions.

🔐 Data Protection
A new feature allows you to block the upload of sensitive data to language models — in real time. This is a major step toward safeguarding information from accidental (or intentional) leaks.

📋 Compliance
With these new controls, it’s easier to stay compliant with legal regulations and internal policies, even in the fast-moving world of AI adoption.

Now Available!

These new capabilities are now available globally for all Cato customers.
